Looking back, it wasn't healthy for everyone to grow up under such close quarters. Hindsight is 20/20 anyway, and I think we did what we could considering the difficulties on Earth.

Were you raised in the woods?

[ not entirely a foreign concept even to someone from space. they had to learn survival skills after all. ]

Yeah. I mean, we had a house and stuff, but we were still a pretty decent drive away from the rest of the town.

Living a little isolation. That sounds a a lot more comfortable than just being raised in the woods. What was your home like?

It was nice. What I remember of it, anyway. It burned down when I was eleven.
